In 1925, Pella began a journey
that would permanently change the innovation and
practices of the window industry. Pella doesn’t simply craft and
install windows, we do much more. With professional practice in environmental tactics,
Pella has created a sustainable company to help guard the environment
and create a sanctuary for
homeowners in Boston and all over the place.
The company began
with an initial investment in the Rolscreen Company, where Lucille and Pete Kuyper
used their Dutch heritage to feed a new era of innovative
window screens – and the idea of Pella was born.
Eventually taking over the company, their goal was to use technology, but in a feasible way to get
rid of those daily little hiccups for homeowners everywhere. It
was just the beginning for the Kuypers, the window industry and over 100
creative patents to come over the years.
There were several major,
widely used products developed under the Pella name,
such as the sliding glass door and several window
styles. Pella is a company
that survived through
the Great Depression and World War II, which demonstrates
the Kuypers’ drive and passion for greatness,
all while sticking to the basics and doing things the right way.
From replacement windows to sliding doors and window
fashions, Pella offers each homeowner a unique
experience depending on what they imagine as their vision of home. Our dependable professionals at Pella Windows and Doors are alongside you every day to make your dream home a reality so that you can relax in your Boston residence.
The aim of Pella Windows and Doors is ensuring you are satisfied as a

Pella focuses on forest management and recycling through the replacement window process.
Beyond Pella’s solid
work ethic, we are also efficient. ENERGY STAR®, a government energy efficiency
program, is a partner with Pella. It’s not surprising that
ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year nine times since joining in 1999.
